- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,720 - $1,850
- Charting System: Epic
- Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; block scheduling required; may float between units as needed
- At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
- Active Washington state Respiratory Therapist license in hand at time of submission
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and RRT credentials required
- Experience with acute care, critical care, emergency response, and rapid response workflows preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Strong knowledge of ABG interpretation, ventilator weaning, airway management, and respiratory treatments
- Must be comfortable floating between units and supporting a variety of patient populations, including pediatrics and adults
- Must be available to work a commitment that includes 3 of the 5 designated holidays
- Provide respiratory care to adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
- Perform floor care, ER support, code response, and rapid response interventions
- Administer and manage respiratory therapies, including aerosol treatments, BiPAP/CPAP, trach care, and oxygen delivery systems
- Support extubation, suctioning, pulmonary hygiene, and airway maintenance
- Assist with ABG interpretation and ongoing respiratory status monitoring
- Manage and troubleshoot ventilator-related issues and support weaning from mechanical ventilation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
- Adapt to changing patient needs across multiple hospital units and clinical settings
