We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join a hospital-based respiratory therapy team in Hilo, HI . In this travel healthcare role, you will deliver high-quality respiratory care, manage ventilators, and collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams. • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 - $1,810

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
• Active Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License required by the start date
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• RRT certification preferred
• NRP preferred
• Comfortable with computerized charting and medication management systems
• Must complete pre-start employee health clearance requirements
• Flu vaccination or approved exception required prior to contract start

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous airway management and comprehensive respiratory care
• Manage ventilators, non-invasive ventilation, and respiratory equipment
• Support physician orders and collaborate with the care team
• Perform CPR and respond to urgent respiratory needs
• Care for patients across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
• Use clinical equipment including PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac transport ventilator
• Document patient care accurately using computerized charting systems
• Work effectively in a night-shift hospital environment focused on quality patient care
