- Setting: Hospital - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,140 - $2,290
- Start Date: ASAP, pending compliance
- Employment Type: Travel contract
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in a Level II or Level III NICU or Special Care Nursery strongly preferred
- Delivery room experience preferred
- Ability to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, aerosolized medications, and oxygen therapy
- Must be able to work rotating or all-night coverage as assigned
- Perform and interpret respiratory tests and procedures to assess and support neonatal patient care
- Work independently while following respiratory care protocols in a NICU environment
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to provide high-quality neonatal respiratory support
- Provide care for infants requiring advanced respiratory interventions, including ventilation and airway management
- Administer oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications as needed
- Support delivery room and neonatal care needs when applicable
- Maintain safe, accurate, and compassionate respiratory care throughout each shift
