• Location: Apple Valley, California
• Start Date: September 22, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150-$2,310
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Charting System: Epic preferred

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required
• Active California Physical Therapist license required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Strong skills in acute care evaluations, reassessments, treatment, and plan of care development
• Comfort working with a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic, post-surgical, neurologic, medical, and geriatric populations
• Ability to safely manage mobility, transfers, gait training, and use of assistive devices

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on function, mobility, and safe discharge
• Support patients recovering from surgeries, fractures, stroke, cardiac conditions, and general medical issues
• Provide patient and family education to promote recovery, independence, and discharge readiness
• Perform gait training, strengthening, range-of-motion, and functional mobility interventions
• Document assessments, progress, and discharge recommendations accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and the interdisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes
