Specialty Medical Staffing is actively seeking a licensed pharmacist for a hospital coverage assignment in the Tulsa, OK area. Assignment Details

Start Date : ASAP
Duration : 13-week contract
Schedule : 3 days a week, 8-hour shifts
Setting : Hospital inpatient pharmacy

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma pharmacist license in good standing (required)
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree
• Inpatient experience is required
• Experience with EPIC or other pharmacy information systems is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• New graduates encouraged to apply

What You'll Do

• Order verification and clinical review of physician medication orders
• Medication dispensing, distribution, and inventory management
• Monitoring medication therapy for drug interactions, dosing accuracy, and safety
• Pharmacokinetic dosing support and clinical consultations
• Medication reconciliation and discharge counseling for patients
• Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other care team members
• Accurate documentation and compliance with pharmacy regulations
