Job Details

• Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation
• Location: Escanaba, MI 49829
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150-$2,310
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts with variable start times
• Schedule: 5 days per week
• Hours: 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 1-2 shifts plus Epic training and mentorship as needed
• Patient Volume: Approximately 7-10 patients per day

Occupational Therapist Job Requirements

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license, or proof that the application process has been initiated
• BLS certification
• At least 1 year of occupational therapy experience preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work with a varied rehabilitation population including geriatric, pediatric, neurological, and orthopedic patients
• Comfortable using Epic charting software
• Ability to work business casual

Occupational Therapy Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and deliver occupational therapy services for inpatient rehab patients
• Treat a broad range of diagnoses across general rehabilitation, including neurological, orthopedic, geriatric, and pediatric cases
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Collaborate with the rehab team and lead therapist to support patient progress and continuity of care
• Provide high-quality patient treatment while managing a daily caseload of 7-10 patients
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on mentorship and excellent patient care
