  • Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
  • Schedule: 4 days per week with a rotating schedule, including weekends
  • Weekend Requirement: 2-3 weekends per month
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920-$2,060

Job Requirements
  • Active Occupational Therapist license or certification required
  • At least 1 year of acute care or hospital occupational therapy experience required
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Must be available for weekend rotation
  • Alaska state fingerprinting and background clearance must be completed or in provisional status before starting
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills
  • Experience with electronic medical records, preferably Epic
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to acute care patients in a hospital setting
  • Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Support patient recovery, functional mobility, and safe discharge planning
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
  • Document care accurately and efficiently in the EMR system
  • Maintain a patient-centered approach while managing a daily caseload in a busy rehab services department
  • Adapt to rotating weekend coverage and changing patient priorities as needed
