Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
• Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT MR and/or ARRT R certification required
• Experience with abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and adult acute care imaging preferred
• Strong knowledge of diffusion imaging, gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, surface coils, spin echo images, T1/T2 imaging, and CINE studies
• Comfort working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Must be available for the assigned night schedule and orientation requirements
• Must be open to a collaborative, fast-paced hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams in accordance with department protocols and physician orders
• Position patients safely and accurately to ensure optimal imaging results
• Operate MRI equipment and utilize GE and Siemens systems effectively
• Support a variety of exam types, including neuro, body, musculoskeletal, and vascular studies
• Apply advanced imaging techniques such as diffusion, MIP, MRP, and post-processing when indicated
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and communicate clearly with the care team
• Provide a professional, compassionate patient experience throughout the imaging process
• Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with department and facility standards
