• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2260-$2430

• Start Date: 9/14/2026
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-11:00 PM
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Float Requirement: Float between two local campuses
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: No weekends or holidays

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology or MRI program
• ARRT (MRI) certification required
• Current AHA Heartsaver AED certification
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with PACS and electronic documentation
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams in accordance with department protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
• Apply knowledge of MRI physics, anatomy, positioning, and imaging techniques to produce optimal diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients while providing excellent patient care throughout the examination
• Administer IV contrast using proper venipuncture techniques and established safety protocols
• Assist physicians with imaging studies and procedures while following infection control and patient safety practices
• Recognize clinical or emergent patient concerns and take appropriate action to ensure safe, successful exams
• Follow MRI safety procedures related to high-strength magnetic fields and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
• Accurately identify patients, label images, complete quality-control processes, and send finalized studies to PACS
• Complete required documentation and ancillary tasks to support efficient department operations
• Serve as a clinical resource to radiography students and other technologists as needed
