Job Details

• Position: Travel MRI Technologist / MRI Tech
• Setting: Hospital-based MRI department
• Location: Greenwich, CT
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM; may vary as needed
• Shift Duration: 8-hour evening shift
• Call: At least one day of call required per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,530 - $2,720 per week
• Charting System: Epic
• Equipment Experience: GE MRI experience required

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of recent hospital MRI technologist experience
• At least 2 years of GE MRI experience
• Experience in a Level III trauma environment required
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• Strong working knowledge of MRI procedures, imaging protocols, and patient safety
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment
• Must be willing to provide call coverage when assigned
• Open to travel work and able to meet compliance requirements prior to start

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans for a diverse patient population
• Provide imaging support across adult, pediatric, and specialty cases as needed
• Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Operate GE MRI equipment and follow established safety and imaging protocols
• Administer or assist with contrast preparation and peripheral IV starts when required
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Support call coverage and assist the department in meeting patient care needs
• Work collaboratively with radiology and clinical teams to deliver timely, accurate diagnostic imaging services
