• Shift: Thursday through Sunday, 8-hour night shifts

• Weekly Hours: 32 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,600 - $2,790

MRI Tech Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• ARRT (R) (MRI) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with EPIC required
• Experience with GE or Siemens MRI systems preferred
• Active Connecticut state license required before start date
• Previous travel radiology experience highly preferred
• Ability to work holidays and provide on-call coverage as needed
• Must be comfortable with mandatory overtime when required for unit coverage

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams for adult patients in ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining excellent image quality
• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care throughout the imaging process
• Collaborate with radiology, nursing, and clinical teams to support smooth workflow and timely exams
• Adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
• Support cardiac MRI and functional MRI imaging when needed
• Assist with holiday coverage, call shifts, and additional hours as assigned
