Hospital Medicine Nocturnist

Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a Hospitalist to join its world-renowned transplant group at Sutter Health's Flagship Hospital, CPMC. This role involves managing a diverse panel of transplant, hepatology, gastroenterology, cardiology, nephrology, and general internal medicine patients. • Work with a world-renowned transplant group.
• Hospitalist work integrates general and perioperative medicine, liver disease, complex GI, advanced heart failure and specialty cardiac care, and end-organ disease management.
• Work closely with a full complement of consult services, a top-notch radiology service, and an interactive inpatient pharmacy team.
• Closed ICU with no rounding.

• Fully integrated EPIC EMR across both clinic and hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse panel of transplant, hepatology, gastroenterology, cardiology, nephrology, and general internal medicine patients.
• Oversee care for medically complex patients.
• Integrate general and perioperative medicine, liver disease, complex GI, advanced heart failure and specialty cardiac care, and end-organ disease management.
• Work closely with consult services, radiology, and inpatient pharmacy team.

Compensation

• $315,000 - $345,000 /Yr.

Shift & Schedule

• 1.0 FTE is equivalent to 10 shifts/per month (generally 5 days on, 10 days off pattern)
• Weekday Shifts 12 hours (8pm-8am)
• Weekend Shifts 14 hours (6pm-8am)
• eHospitalist for cross coverage from 6pm-2am

Requirements

• BC/BE in Internal Medicine
• Active and unrestricted CA Medical License
• Experience with tertiary care medicine is highly preferred
