Hospital Hematopathologist - Oklahoma City, OK (onsite)

Responsibilities

AmeriPath and Diagnostics Pathology Services, Inc. is seeking a hospital-based Hematopathologist who will manage a case mix of hematopathology, bone marrows and AP/CP general surgical work with frozen sign-out. The selected candidate will work in a tertiary care hospital as part of a team of 7 pathologists. Willingness to assume hospital-based medical directorship for a small hospital is ideal.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with accredited pathology residency/fellowship
• Board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology
• Board certification in hematopathology or board eligibility
• 2–3 years post-residency experience desired but not required
• Valid unrestricted medical license in the practicing state or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Active privileges in the facility where inpatient work is interpreted
