Overview
This 13-week travel CT technologist job offers the chance to use your CT and radiography skills in a dynamic hospital setting. You will perform both CT scans and X-ray procedures while helping deliver exceptional imaging services to patients of all ages.
Job Details
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,290 - $2,460
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Setting: Acute care hospital
  • Location: Santa Rosa, California
  • Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
  • Shift Notes: Rotating weekends required
  • Charting System: Epic
  • Orientation: Approximately 16 hours
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience in an acute care setting
  • CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist
  • ARRT Radiography certification required
  • Valid fluoroscopy license required
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Experience with Epic electronic health record preferred
  • Strong knowledge of imaging safety, contrast procedures, and patient preparation
  • Ability to work rotating weekends and adapt to variable day shift hours
Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and X-rays with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to patient safety
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and provide clear, compassionate communication
  • Administer and assist with contrast-related procedures as appropriate
  • Maintain radiation safety standards and follow all imaging protocols
  • Document imaging activities accurately in the electronic charting system
  • Collaborate with the radiology, transportation, and clinical care teams to support smooth patient flow
  • Support weekend coverage and help maintain high-quality diagnostic imaging services across a diverse patient population
