• On-Call: 4-6 shifts per month on off days

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of CT technologist or radiologic technologist experience preferred
• ARRT certification in CT required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active Florida Department of Health license required
• Experience with GE imaging equipment strongly preferred
• Experience with Meditech strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with physicians, radiologists, and patients
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital imaging environment
• Mechanical aptitude and solid anatomical knowledge

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and related diagnostic imaging procedures
• Capture accurate images of bones, organs, and tissues to support patient assessment and diagnosis
• Work with a multidisciplinary radiology team to provide efficient patient care
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with department standards
• Assist with MRI, body scanning, and X-ray-related workflow as needed
• Communicate clearly with patients to ensure a safe and comfortable imaging experience
• Follow clinical protocols, radiation safety procedures, and documentation requirements
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
