- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,240 - $2,400

- Work Environment: Independent practice with ER-focused imaging and occasional outpatient scans
- Additional Notes: No call required; every other major holiday required; no local candidates within 50 miles
- At least 1 year of experience in CT and X-ray required
- At least 1 year of experience in radiation safety and patient care required
- Experience working in an emergency department setting required
- GE equipment experience required
- ARRT certification required
- Active Virginia license required
- BLS required
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and patient-centered care skills
- Perform CT and X-ray exams accurately and efficiently
- Support ER imaging needs with a focus on quality, safety, and timely turnaround
- Prepare patients for imaging, verify orders, and confirm proper patient identification
- Operate GE CT and X-ray equipment following established protocols
- Apply radiation safety practices and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Work independently while coordinating with an interdisciplinary care team
- Document procedures and maintain clear communication with clinical staff
- Handle a variable scan volume, typically 5-20 exams per shift
