Hospital Collections Manager

To support efficient operations, the full-time Hospital Collections Manager will oversee credit and collection functions, coordinate staff activities, and ensure compliance with collection laws while working remotely or in a hybrid environment for approved states. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain interdepartmental communications and collaborate with the Billing Manager on billing-related issues Reduce accounts receivable days through audits, staff training, and effective management of departmental processes Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures while monitoring staff performance and providing development opportunities Required Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Five (5) years of experience in Patient Accounting and one (1) year of supervisory experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of accounting principles Experience in managing staff and motivating teams through positive reinforcement Ability to interact effectively with the public and utilize resources in an organized manner
