For over 125 years, Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home located in the Bronx, New York has been dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families. Through a caring, compassionate philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospice provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care. The hospice receives patients from referring institutions throughout New York City and the entire tristate area.

Responsibilities
Assists in the planning, implementation, documentation and coordination of patient care services to Hospice patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Two (2) years experience in nursing which includes any combination of medical-surgical, oncological, palliative and community home health/hospice.
- At least one (1) year of community hospice or home health experience is preferred.
- Hospice experience preferred.
- Position requires ability to commute to multiple territories to ensure continuity of care.
- A valid driver’s license is required. (This requirement does not apply to positions assigned exclusively to Manhattan territory)
- A vehicle is required to commute to patients. (This requirement does not apply to positions assigned exclusively to Manhattan territory)
- Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions.

- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school is preferred.
