Hospice/Palliative Medicine Physician

The ideal candidate would be committed to providing high quality, patient-centered, and compassionate care to patients.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hospice and Palliative Care (fellowship trained with Palliative Care experience is highly preferred)
• Exceptional clinical and communication skills
• Ability to obtain a Georgia Medical License
• EPIC experience a plus

Position purpose:

• Perform inpatient and palliative care consultations
• Provide clinical leadership and expertise within the palliative care clinical team
• Assist patients and families in navigating complex medical decisions; help manage physical and emotional symptoms of patients with serious and complex illnesses; meet with families and patients to determine goals of care and document patient s advance care wishes.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve the patient and family experience of care
