Hose Assembly TechnicianPrice Engineering, a SunSource company, specializes in engineered custom products and solutions through engineering resource management, research, planning and development in the areas of hydraulics, pneumatics, automation and electrical systems.The hose assembly technician is responsible for the assembly of hydraulic hoses, hose kits and general fluid conveyance assemblies. All responsibilities include following established procedures to provide 100% quality and on-time production and delivery in the fabrication of hose assemblies and kits. This will require coordination with the Production Supervisor and other Fluid Conveyance team members.Essential FunctionsUse of hose assembly equipment to cut, clean, crimp, cap and kit hose assembliesCommunicate material shortages and/or issues to the production supervisor in charge as neededAssist in periodic inventory countsBe able to recognize different fittings and hose types and sizes by sight.Fork lift operationAbility to lift product sometimes in excess of 55lbs.Assembling of Job Packets for production workPrint labels (brady / box)Assist in prioritizing work / delegating workflowPrinting Job Tickets (Plan for Every Part)Training and cross trainingMonitor scheduling of equipment maintenance / Supplies / REQ inventoryExperience, Education and SkillsHigh School Degree, GED or EquivalentOngoing willingness to continue educational learning/trainingExperience working with power tools and hand toolsMechanical aptitude a mustLogical problem-solving abilityStrong interpersonal skills and both written and oralMotivated self-starter with the ability to organize, prioritize, and complete work assignments as assigned.Sound judgement and decision making abilityDemonstrates integrity and ethical standardsMaintains professional demeanor at all timesTeam player who works effectively with a wide range of peoplePhysical DemandsRegularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects, and feel controls, reach, climb stairs, stoop, crouch, talk, listen and have vision capabilities that enable reading and viewing a computer screen.
