CNC ProgrammerThe CNC Programmer is responsible for creating, optimizing, and supporting CNC programs for production parts across milling and turning platforms.Responsibilities include:Program CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam or equivalent CAM softwareDevelop efficient toolpaths, speeds/feeds, and workholding strategiesSupport initial setups and prove-out of new programs on the floorDiagnose and resolve machining issues related to tooling, programs, or setupImplement mistake-proofing techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce wasteIdentify opportunities to reduce cycle time and improve tool lifeAll other duties as assigned by managementSkills and competencies include:Strong experience with CNC milling and turningProficiency in Mastercam or similar CAM softwareSolid understanding of GD&T and blueprint readingStrong troubleshooting mindsetComfortable working in a fast-paced production environmentQualifications include:4–8 years of CNC programming experience in a production environmentProven experience programming both mills and lathesExperience improving cycle times and program efficiencyHands-on setup and prove-out experiencePhysical requirements include:Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with required PPE including eye protection, hearing protection, and safety shoes.
