Responsible for investigating and settling moderately complex homeowner liability claims, the fully remote Homeowner Liability Adjuster will negotiate settlements, review estimates, and act as the primary contact for policyholder attorneys. Key responsibilities Negotiate and settle claims in accordance with business unit best practices Review estimates and coordinate the appraisal process for complex, disputed claims Act as the primary point of contact for policyholder attorneys, managing direct negotiations to resolve disputes Required qualifications Experience in claims investigation and settlement, particularly in homeowner liability Knowledge of comprehensive personal liability (CPL) claims Ability to analyze contracts and determine coverage limits Proficiency in documenting claims and maintaining accurate claim files Experience drafting and responding to attorney correspondence and demands
