Homemaker (Homemaker) – In-Home Care

⚠️ REQUIRED TO APPLY: Applicants must have a full, Massachusetts valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, a reliable personal vehicle, and a valid Homemaker certificate

📍 Location: Springfield & Surrounding Areas
💰 Wage: $18.50/hour + Mileage Reimbursement
🕐 Schedule: Flexible Hours | Based on Availability

This position starts on a per diem (as-needed) basis, with the opportunity to gradually build your schedule as you pick up additional clients.

Join our team as a Homemaker and provide meaningful, one-on-one care to individuals in their homes while supporting their independence, well-being, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Valid and current Homemaker certificate
• Full, valid Massachusetts driver’s license held for at least 12 months (permits and JOLs do not qualify)
• Personal reliable vehicle for traveling to individuals’ homes
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass required background checks, physical exam, and TB screening
• Comfortable using a mobile device for documentation
• Caregiving experience preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, and a strong communicator

What You’ll Do

• Provide in-home ADL 
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and grocery shopping
• Monitor health needs, document services, and maintain a safe, supportive home environment
• Build positive, trusting relationships with the individuals you serve
