How you'll make an impact in this role
Provide a safe environment for children.

• Ensure children are supervised at all times.
• Ensure the environment is safe, clean and in good repair.
• Report deficiencies to supervisor immediately.
• Follow acceptable protocol when accepting children for child care coverage.
• Interact with children and parents appropriately.
• Assist in maintaining the ordered arrangement, appearance, décor, and learning environment of the classroom while allowing for the expressive and creative involvement and interaction of children.

What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart
  Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation preferred.
• Food Service Professional credentialed from the ServSafe National Restaurant Association preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience,
    if applicable.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Experience working in a preschool, Head Start, or other educational setting with young children is required
• Must be at least 19 years old and hold a high school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Home visitor will recruit, enroll, and maintain a caseload of 12 families and complete 90-minute weekly home visits with each family.
• Home visitor will meet weekly documentation requirements and participate in twice-monthly family socialization events.
