nPosition Overview: As a Home Health PTA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement personalized therapy programs. You’ll assist patients with exercises, mobility techniques, and activities to improve their physical strength, mobility, and overall quality of life—all while working independently in the field.
nKey Responsibilities:
nAssist patients with prescribed physical therapy exercises and treatments
nMonitor patients' progress and provide feedback to the supervising PT
nEducate patients and caregivers on exercises, techniques, and safety precautions
nMaintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress
nCommunicate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care
nEnsure proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
nAssist with patient evaluations and goal setting as directed by the PT
nParticipate in on-call rotation (if required)
nQualifications:
nLicensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in CA
nMinimum of 1 year of PTA experience (home health preferred but not required)
nStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
nAbility to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
nReliable transportation and valid driver’s license
nKnowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines a plus
nEMR experience preferred
nFlexible work from home options available.
