Home Health Clinical Director

The Home Health Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of a home health program. This role partners with field staff and leadership to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, while maintaining operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strong team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily clinical operations to ensure effective and efficient service delivery
• Provide leadership to promote quality, safety, and patient satisfaction
• Oversee staff education, competency, and performance evaluations
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and clinical capacity to meet patient needs
• Monitor care delivery for quality, compliance, and adherence to standards
• Address patient concerns and implement process improvements as needed
• Support and develop clinical supervisors and team members
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams regarding patient care
• Drive recruitment, hiring, and retention of clinical staff
• Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives

Qualifications

• Active professional licensure in a healthcare field (e.g., RN, PT, OT, SLP)
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Experience in home health or a similar healthcare setting preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality standards
