Position Summary
We are seeking a kind, emotionally intelligent, and professional veterinarian to provide compassionate in‑home euthanasia services. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, communicates with empathy, and finds fulfillment in supporting pet families through end‑of‑life care.
Responsibilities
- Travel to clients’ homes to provide end‑of‑life veterinary care.
- Offer gentle euthanasia procedures with empathy, sensitivity, and respect.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to pet families—honor the human‑animal bond with every visit.
- Ensure proper documentation and communication with support staff.
- Guide families through a deeply emotional process with grace and reassurance.
- Communicate clearly and kindly before, during, and after the appointment.
- Represent our values with integrity in every interaction.
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent and current veterinary license in Florida.
- Professional liability coverage.
- Excellent bedside manner and emotional intelligence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Comfort working independently in clients’ homes.
- Experience in palliative care, hospice, or euthanasia preferred (training can be provided).
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
