Onsite Full Time General

Low Voltage TechnicianResponsibilities (including but not limited to):Installation and maintenance of electronic equipmentCustom Installation and setup of various hardware in finished and unfinished residential/ commercial (interior and exterior)Install, configure, and test various surveillance hardware, smart-home gadgets, cabling etcAble to take direction and use cognitive thinking in order to complete complex installations solo or as a teamMust be good at solving and complex installation configurations on the flyPull and terminate cablesRough-in and finish workMinimum Requirements:Must have clean driving recordPrior construction experience - knowing your way around a construction site/ home etcPrior experience running and terminating RJ45, Coax and RJ-11Prior Experience installing AV industry products (tvs, racks, in-wall/ceiling items)Ability to follow instructionExcellent communication skills; strong customer service skillsMust be able to lift 50 pounds; must be able to bend, stoop, reach, climb.Bonus Points for below:Computer Networking and WiFi experienceControl4, Crestron, Total Control/ URC experienceCamera NVR programming/ setup experienceDSC Security products experienceAdditional info:Work vehicle providedPaid Cell phonePaid Individual Health InsurancePaid Vacation and 401k offeredGrowth opportunities are availableAre you looking for rewarding work, Working in high end luxury residential, looking for a position with room to grow? We've got an opening in our roster and we're looking to add a low voltage technician with some experience in the low voltage - AV field to our team! Someone who is hardworking, honest and a go-getter will do well with us. Our home office is located in Kent Island Maryland but work all over the state of Maryland, Northern Virginia and in Washington DC. The right person will have in-depth knowledge and practical ability to run wire in new/existing construction - be able to mount televisions to the wall using a variety of mounts. Be able to use power tools and measure with accuracy. Other plus's are: Ability to work alone or as a team, being humble and ensuring one's work is sound. Being neat, clean and courteous.
