Prestigious Financial Institution is currently seeking a Sr. Storage Engineer with strong Hitachi and Pure Storage arrays experience. Candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Linux multi-path and Cisco MDS Fibre Channel switching.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage storage solutions, primarily using Hitachi and Pure Storage arrays.
- Collaborate with storage vendors on installation, upgrades, and replacementsofstorage arrays.
- Ensureoptimalperformance and reliability of storage systems.
- Administer Cisco MDS FibreChannel switches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on storage projects and requests.
- Document processes and maintainstandards for storage system architecture.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in storage engineering.
- Strongexpertisein Hitachi storage solutions: OpsCenter Admin, CM-REST, Analyzer, and RAIDCOM
- Deep understanding of Fibre Channel switching layer with an ability to troubleshoot.
- Familiarity with Pure Storage arrays.
- Proficient in RHEL multipath configuration for various array types.
- Eagerness to work with and learn from the team.
Preferred Skills:
- Detailed knowledge of the Hitachi and Pure array model lines.
- Troubleshootingskills forFibreChannel performance issues.
- Abilitytowrite and understand scripts usedforautomation ofdata collection tasks.
- Experience withsoftware-definedand object storage solutions.
- Knowledgeof data replication options and when to utilize each.
