Schedule: Full Time
Pay Range: $35.00 - $45.00 / Hourly
Shift: Day shift
Hours: 7:30a-4:00p
About this role Job Summary
- Under the general supervision of the Pathologists and Cytology/Pathology Supervisor, and within defined departmental policies and procedures, processes and stains all specimens submitted for histological analysis.
- Education
- Associates or Baccalaureate degree required. In lieu of education, must be ASCP certified.
- Experience
- At least one year prior Histology experience required.
- Licensure and/or Certification
- HT/HTL (ASCP) certification preferred.
- Skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to maintain confidential information required.
