Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process tissue specimens for microscopic examination
- Perform embedding, microtomy, staining, and slide preparation
- Maintain quality control standards and laboratory documentation
- Ensure proper specimen handling and adherence to safety protocols
- Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment
Job Requirements
- ASCP certification preferred (HT or HTL)
- Previous histology experience preferred
- Knowledge of tissue processing, embedding, cutting, and staining techniques
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory setting
