Inspect fruits and vegetables to remove rotten, bruised, or damaged items. Sort and grade produce by size, color, and quality. Place items neatly into boxes, bags, clamshells, or crates. Weigh containers, attach correct labels, and record counts. Stack packed goods onto pallets and wrap them for transport.
Ability to stand for long shifts and perform repetitive hand movements. Comfort working in cool or refrigerated warehouse environments. Strong attention to detail to spot product defects. Basic math and reading skills to verify labels and orders. Ability to lift items (often up to 30 to 50 pounds).
