Valley Baptist Physician Network is seeking a fellowship-trained Hip & Joint Surgeon to join an established, multi-specialty group in the Rio Grande Valley. This role offers a high-impact opportunity to shape orthopedic care within a 586-bed Level II Trauma Center equipped with cutting-edge surgical technology. Practice Info
- Operate within a 586-bed Level II Trauma Center
- Equipped with da Vinci robotic systems, Brainlab computer navigation, and an AIRO mobile intraoperative CT
- Dedicated Ortho/Trauma floor at Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen
- Ortho Trauma provider on staff, providing VBMC coverage
- Office located in the Medical Office Building with walking-distance access to the hospital OR
- Potential for privileges at sister facility in Brownsville

Shift & Schedule
- Flexible schedule: 2-3 days per week split between clinic and OR block time
- Clinic hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- 70/30 inpatient/outpatient case mix
- Estimated 3-5 call days per month, inclusive of general ortho call
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in Hip & Joint reconstruction preferred; extensive clinical experience considered
- Trauma Certification a plus
