Overseeing the daily operations of the coding department, the full-time HIM Coding Supervisor will ensure accurate and timely coding of inpatient and outpatient medical records while supervising staff, conducting audits, and providing training in a 100% remote environment. Key responsibilities Supervise coding staff and manage daily operations to ensure compliance with regulations Conduct audits of coding accuracy and provide ongoing training to team members Collaborate with other departments to maintain coding standards and improve processes Required qualifications 3-5 years of experience in medical coding supervision Proficiency in coding guidelines and regulations for inpatient and outpatient records Experience conducting audits and training coding staff Knowledge of compliance standards in healthcare coding Certification in medical coding (e.g., CCS, CPC) is preferred
