Job Responsibilities
- Utilize existing HILS assets to verify that signals are correctly communicated to the ADAS control unit.
- Validate that signals are transmitted through the base software layer and correctly propagated to the application layer for proper functionality.
- Ensure signals are accurately received and utilized within the application layer.
- Support the development of evaluation criteria to assess signal fidelity at different stages of the signal path.
- Using existing HILS assets and predefined test case definitions, recreate and execute test cases within the HILS environment and validate results based on the established criteria.
- Utilize existing HILS infrastructure to support the development of integrated modeling methods for virtual prediction of vehicle-level ADAS performance.
- Effectively document processes, results, and methodologies, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Support process implementation and related engineering activities as required.
Desired Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or Controls Engineering required
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working in a HILS environment
- Experience with MATLAB / Simulink
- Experience with Vector CANape, CANalyzer, or CANoe
- Programming experience with Python, C++, or VBA
- Experience with Automotive CAN communication
- Experience with IPG CarMaker
- Experience with co-simulation and integrated real-time modeling
- Experience with dSPACE SCALEXIO HILS equipment (LabBox, Customized SCALEXIO, SCLX Processing Unit)
- Strong organizational, documentation, and reporting skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
