Job Type: Full-time Work Arrangement: Hybrid Location: Albany, NY Pay: Albany : $44-$60/hour

Design the roads, intersections, and trails that connect New York communities. Creighton Manning is growing its Highway Design Group. As a licensed Project Engineer, you'll lead highway design work and manage smaller projects from start to finish, partnering with traffic, structural, and construction inspection teams. With a strong pipeline of secured work, you can focus on engineering-not business development.

What You Will Do

• Design roadways, trails, sidewalks, and intersections, including roundabouts and traffic signals.
• Check calculations and prepare construction contract documents.
• Coordinate with clients and multidiscipline teams, and present at project meetings.
• Prepare reports, estimates, and basic proposals.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers and technicians.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's in engineering (ABET/EAC accredited).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 8+ years of highway or roadway design experience.
• MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoTurn proficiency.
• Working knowledge of the NYSDOT Highway Design Manual.
• Active member of a professional organization.
• Occasional after-hours work for deadlines and meetings.
