This role is based in Irvine CA and is part of US based Storage team to support client and our Client's global strategic initiatives, including automation across all SAN/NAS/Backup Systems.You will join a Team of Storage Engineers who is responsible for Global Storage infrastructure for client and it's Client. You will be placed at our client's location in Dublin and will be part of our follow the Sun model for support.As Storage Engineer you will be responsible for day to day activities on following storage platforms:NetApp CDOT mode AdministrationPure storage Administration.Hitachi SAN administration.Veritas Netbackup AdministrationBrocade and MDS switch administration.We are looking for someone who is a team player with good problem solving and critical thinking skills with at least 8 years experience on SAN and NAS platforms mentioned below:NetApp CDOT mode AdministrationPure storage Administration.Hitachi SAN administration a plus.Oracle Tape Library/Tape Drive AdministrationOracle Key Management AdministrationVeritas Netbackup Administration (LInux and Windows Master Servers)Veritas Netbackup Key Management AdministrationBrocade and MDS switch administration.Bachelor's level or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering - if the candidate has the experience and no degree, the manager is open to seeing candidates like this.
Minimum 8 years of SAN and NAS admistration experience. Must know command line for Brocade and MDS switches. Unix Scripting and global infrastructure support experience is a plus.Top three must-haves:Netapps cluster ontaps support and veritas netbackup support.This position will be hybrid 3 days onsite at Irvine CA and 2 days remote.
Working hours are 8.30 - 5.30 PST. Contractor will need their own laptop. Need to jump in 1st day.
At least 5 years+ experience. Maintain netapps and netbackups and work on different projects related to storage technologies. Interviews will be conducted Monday - Friday depending on open slot on the day.
