Key Responsibilities
- Responding to USPTO Office Actions
- Drafting top‑notch U.S. patent applications for major technology companies
- Conducting prior art searches, re‑examinations, freedom‑to‑operate analyses, due diligence, patentability assessments, litigation support, and patent searches
Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Admitted to at least one state bar (if attorney) and admitted to the USPTO
- A minimum of 3 years of high‑tech patent prosecution experience at a top law firm
- Excellent academic credentials
- Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills
- Self‑driven, independent work ethic with strong communication abilities
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation based solely on productivity
- Annual compensation range of $170,000–$330,000, variable by productivity, position level, and client portfolio
