Preferred Qualifications :

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher's License with appropriate endorsement to teach English at the middle school level
• Endorsement in English
• Have experience in curriculum development
• Have experience and expertise in using technology in education
• Have strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
• Such other alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent or School Board may find appropriate and acceptable
