JKL Bahweting Anishnabe School is accepting applications for a Full-time High School Principal for the School Year. Salary Range: $90,425 – $134,162 (This is determined by years of experiences in related position).

JKL is a currently a K-8 Michigan public charter school dedicated to outstanding educational experiences, serving approximately 600 students. 27-28 SY JKL will be opening our high school.JKL offers a comprehensive benefits package, including an 80% employer paid health premium, BCBS Medical, Dental, Vision and Rx, State retirement/pension, tuition reimbursement, PTO and sick time, Life & Disability insurance, Employee Access Program services, and other optional insurances.

Position Summary

To provide administration of the 9-12 education program including program design, staff supervision, student development, and parent outreach.

Qualifications for this position are:

• Master’s Degree or higher in Educational Administration or Educational Leadership.
• Must have a valid Michigan School Administrator Certificate.
• 5 years experience in education required.
• 5 years teaching or building/school district level administrative experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrates good communication skills with parents and professionalism in a variety of situations.
