A Master's degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.Job Description: As an HPC Technology SE6, you will provide systems engineering support to the HPC Technology team that can evaluate, integrate, and understand the operations of cutting-edge, emerging systems' capabilities with the emphasis on applying systems to unique HPC requirements.
Responsibilities include supporting the following:Evaluation of vendor's system architecture and development environment with analysis of systems' ability to satisfy unique HPC requirements.Conducting a thorough evaluation of Machine-Learning capabilities.Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:Experience in developing a new or innovative approach to a technical or engineering issue and evaluating requirements to determine system suitability.Strong experience/interest in Machine-learning capabilities.Background in hands-on systems analysis; computer architecture and operating environment.Experience with high-level programming languages.Understanding of computational complexity, experience with signal processing.Ability to work independently on high-level technical tasking; learn vendor-specific language.Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:Experience with IC industry and customer.
