Northwell Health Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking a hematopathologist for its central Anatomic Pathology Services practice in the NYC suburbs. This role involves serving Nassau and Suffolk Counties in Long Island and the Queens borough of New York City. Practice Info
- Central Anatomic Pathology Services practice within the Hematopathology department
- Service covers two major tertiary hospitals (North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center), a children's hospital (Cohen Children's Medical Center), an outpatient bone marrow service, and hematopathology cases from regional Northwell hospitals
- Interpretation of bone marrow, tissue pathology, heme FNA, flow cytometry, and clinical hematology services
- Physicians will be employed as members of Northwell Physician Partners
Compensation
- Salary: Commensurate with Experience
- Full-time clinical base compensation ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, impacted by various factors including physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity
- Academic appointment with the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with credentials and experience

Requirements
- AP board certified in Anatomic Pathology and/or Clinical Pathology, as well as Hematopathology
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Keen interest and experience in teaching, preferably with more than three years of post-fellowship experience
- Academic background and/or accomplishments
- Strong candidates without experience will be considered
