Role: Pharmacist responsible for providing safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy, developing evidence-based care plans, and optimizing patient outcomes and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pharmaceutical care within assigned patient care areas, coordinating resources for efficient service.
  • Interpreting and clarifying physicians’ medication orders, reviewing patient medication profiles for safety, efficacy, and interactions.
  • Recommending formulary alternatives, advising healthcare professionals on drug therapy issues, and monitoring lab results.
  • Providing drug information, conducting discharge medication consultations, and making clinical rounds.
  • Calculating dosages, verifying orders, and preparing compounded and sterile medications.
  • Supervising pharmacy staff, assisting with departmental policies, and ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Collaborating with medical and nursing staff to resolve pharmacy-related issues and providing educational in-services.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required; Doctoral Degree preferred.
  • Residency training or 3 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy, medication safety, and clinical best practices.
  • Excellent communication, supervision, and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to work in a clinical environment, with attention to detail and adherence to policies.
