About Sheridan Memorial Hospital

Sheridan Memorial Hospital is an 88‑bed community hospital located in Sheridan, WY, providing comprehensive care across more than 15 specialty areas. The hospital features a state‑of‑the‑art Welch Cancer Center, a full chemo‑oncology clinic, its own pharmacy, and medical and radiation oncology services.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a second full‑time oncologist and an advanced practice clinician from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
• Share on‑call duties as part of the team approach to support work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited post‑graduate training program in Internal Medicine, followed by Fellowship training in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
• Current, unrestricted WY license, DEA, and CSR (will assist with licensing if not yet received).
• Current certification or active participation in the examination process for certification in Internal Medicine (within 2 years) and Board Certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
• BLS certification required.
