Hematology/Oncology Physician

Facility is seeking a Medical Oncology and Hematology Physician to provide outpatient clinic coverage on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including clinic call as needed. This role is to cover a recruitment gap.

• On-Call Requirements: Clinic call only
• Average Patients per Day: outpatient clinic patients
• EMR System: Cerner

• 100% Adult Outpatient

• Practice Setting & Support : Oncology and Hematology outpatient clinic. Previously a two-physician practice with NP assistance

Support Staff Includes:

• -Oncology RNs
• -Medical Assistants
• -Social Worker
• -Dietitian
• -Nurse Navigator

Onsite Services:

• -Infusion center
• -Onsite CBCs
• -Recruitment for a full-time physician is ongoing

Procedures / Skills Required

• -Hematology outpatient care
• -Oncology outpatient care
• -Participation in tumor board
• -Specialty Category: Hematology/Oncology
• -Experience min 2 years

• Provider must understand they will physically be working in LAPEER REQUIRED
• Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology REQUIRED , willing to review Truly BE providers
• BLS/ACLS - REQUIRED
• Active MI license - REQUIRED , will not accept IMLC
• Please provide availability at time of name clear - REQUIRED
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR - PREFERRED .
• Copy of the NPDB, self-query requires at presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) - REQUIRED
