Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a full-time Hematology-Oncology Physician to join its growing practice in East Midwood, Brooklyn, NY. This role offers the opportunity to provide excellent patient care, ensure quality outcomes, and contribute to a thriving community practice. The successful candidate will partner with the world-renowned Icahn School of Medicine and be committed to patient-centered care.

Practice Info

  • Located in the East Midwood section of Brooklyn, NY
  • Serves patients from neighborhoods including Midwood, Madison, Marine Park, Mill Basin, East Flatbush, Flatlands, Canarsie, Brighton Beach, and Sheepshead Bay
  • Works with a variety of specialties including primary care, cardiology, specialty care, women's health services (OB/GYN), endocrinology and more
  • Provides on-site lab and imaging services
  • Benefits from an excellent primary care referral base with an established patient panel on day one
  • Has a close affiliation with Mount Sinai Heart and world-class tertiary/quaternary cardiac and surgical care

Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction
  • Partner with the Icahn School of Medicine
  • Work with a variety of specialties including primary care, cardiology, specialty care, women's health services (OB/GYN), endocrinology and more
  • Serve a diverse population

Compensation

  • Compensation range from $300,000 to $425,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
  • Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need
  • The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits

Requirements

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • New York Medical License
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
  • Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
  • Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
  • A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
