Hematology/Oncology Physician

Locums - Martinsville, Virginia Hematology/Oncology Opening Clinical Role Provide Hematology/Oncology coverage for an established outpatient practice. Long-term commitment and drive-in candidates are preferred.Assignment Details Coverage Dates: September 8-October 30, 2026November 16-November 22Ongoing NeedSchedule:

• Outpatient clinical hours plus light call
• 4 shifts per week
• 8-10 hours per day based on patient volume
• Overtime after 40 hours per week
• Approximately 12-15 patients per day

Call Coverage

• Light beeper call for established patients
• Approximately 2-5 phone calls per week
• 1-hour response time
• No onsite night or weekend call requirement

Support & Practice

• 3 established permanent providers plus 6 RNs, 1 PA/NP, and 6 office staff
• This is joining an existing team, not solo coverage
• 13-bed facility
• Aria EMR
• Apartment available
• Drive-in candidates preferred

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible - Required
• Hematology/Oncology Fellowship - Required
• Active Virginia license - Required
• ABLS, ACLS, BLS - Required
