Hematology/Oncology Physician - Fargo, North Dakota (Permanent) Availability
  • Position Type: Permanent
  • Start Date: Negotiable
Schedule
  • Primarily outpatient practice
  • Consultative call only
  • Approximately 8-10 call days per month
  • Hospitalists manage admissions and overnight coverage
  • Regional outreach to satellite clinics approximately one day per week/month (varies by schedule)
Location
  • Fargo, North Dakota
  • Regional outreach throughout North Dakota and Minnesota
Board Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
Experience
  • Hematology/Oncology physician experience required
Position Highlights
  • Join an established team of 4 Hematologist/Oncologists and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Average daily volume:
    • 10-12 follow-up patients
    • 2-4 new patient consults
  • Multidisciplinary Tumor Board participation
  • On-site support includes:
    • Radiation Oncology
    • Interventional Radiology
    • Genetic Counseling
    • Palliative Care
    • Nutrition Services
    • Social Work
    • Nurse Navigators
    • Behavioral Health
    • Cancer Rehabilitation and Lymphedema Specialists
  • Access to clinical trials through the NCORP research program
  • Epic EMR
