Hematology/Oncology Physician

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking several Hematology/Oncology physicians to join and lead a growing medical oncology practice within one of the most comprehensive oncology programs in the Southwest. This role offers both clinical depth and meaningful influence over the program's direction, practicing within a fully integrated cancer care ecosystem. Physicians will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on patients and the practice of oncology in El Paso, TX.

Practice Info

• Outpatient-primary setting with inpatient support infrastructure in place
• Outpatient team includes a patient care tech, clinical coordinator, office coordinator, approximately 6 chemo nurses, oncology pharmacist, and certified cancer navigators
• Inpatient support provided by a hospitalist team managing admissions and established general and oncology surgeons on staff (breast, thyroid, colorectal, liver)
• Integrated oncology resources include in-house labs, imaging, oncology pharmacy, pathology, and multidisciplinary tumor boards
• Clinic shares a building with cancer navigation team, physical therapy, and infusion clinic
• Practice affiliation with The Hospitals of Providence, the largest health network in El Paso, TX

Shift & Schedule

• Full Time
• 32 patient contact hours per week

Requirements

• MD or DO degree required
• Board certified in Internal Medicine
• Board certified or board eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology required
