Presbyterian Cancer Care is seeking a compassionate Hematology/Oncology physician to join their growing program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality cancer care within a strong, collaborative group of experienced clinicians, supported by a large referral base across New Mexico. Practice Info

  • Join a cohesive team of 8 Hematology/Oncology clinicians with robust systemwide referrals.
  • Work alongside a fully integrated care team including clinical pharmacists, behavioral health clinicians, care managers, case managers, registered nurses, and medical assistants.
  • Integrated Care Team: Work closely with nurse navigators, social workers, dieticians, and chemo-certified infusion nurses.
  • Diverse Patient Mix: 60% Oncology / 40% Benign Hematology.
  • System-wide EMR with MyChart patient portal.
  • Established referral network.

Responsibilities

  • Practice high-quality cancer care.
  • Build meaningful connections with patients.
  • Participate in studies through the New Mexico Cancer Care Alliance.

Compensation

  • $700,000 base salary with production incentives.
  • Total Cash Compensation earning potential over $1,000,000.
  • Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance.
  • Student Loan Repayment Opportunities: Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), National Health Service Corps (NHSC), New Mexico Health Professional Loan Repayment Program Eligible for $75,000 per year up to $300,000.
  • New Mexico Physician Tax Credit – Up to $10,000 annually for eligible physicians.

Shift & Schedule

  • Balanced Schedule: 36 hours patient care + 4 hours admin, Monday–Friday.
  • Flexible scheduling options.
  • Manageable Call: Inpatient call only 7 weeks per year.
